President
During his tenure at a Fortune 500 company in international markets, Rich Durante identified a significant gap in the market: the need for trustworthy property management for single-family homes. Faced with the challenge of finding a reliable company to manage his personal properties while working overseas, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
In 2001, Rich founded Durante & Rich Real Estate, and since then, the company has experienced remarkable growth. Rich holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, and he further enhanced his expertise by earning an MBA from the esteemed University of Chicago Booth School of Business. With a strong educational background and a wealth of professional experience, Rich is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for clients through thoughtful and systematic strategies.

Kimberly Carlson

Kimberly is a seasoned real estate agent with over a decade of experience. She has successfully closed over $37M in transactions and represented hundreds of investors, buyers and sellers. In addition to sales, Kimberly is a dedicated district manager of more than 250 rental properties in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. A strategic thinker, she is a reputable expert in real estate investment, helping clients maximize their returns. With a strong drive for growth, Kimberly continues to seek opportunities that refine her expertise to stay current and ahead in the industry.
Maria Simoncelli

Maria started her career in Real Estate in 2013 but has been involved in real estate throughout her life. As a young professional in Texas, she bought her first investment property and continued from there. She has since built a portfolio and has helped clients with all types of real estate services including buying, selling, investing, rental and property management. She has successfully closed a variety of transactions with a total worth of over 18 million dollars. Combining an incredible work ethic and impeccable style with energetic, friendly and client-first approach, Maria has stayed dedicated and focused on success.

Allan Ortiz

Alan Ortiz is a long-time San Diego Resident. Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Alan moved to San Diego in 2004. He grew up in Escondido, attending Escondido Charter, Palomar College, and California State University San Marcos. During the pandemic Alan began his real estate career in 2021. Alan joined Durante & Rich Real Estate in 2022 as the District Manager for San Diego County. Alan loves San Diego, and enjoys discovering new places to eat and work in between appointments. He owns a small 5-year-old Maltipoo named Santo, and he enjoys visiting his Sister in Sacramento who is part of the Sacramento Kings Dance team.
